M·A·C Select

To better serve M·A·C's new loyalty program, the M·A·C Select app leads customers as they climb the Seduced, Devoted and Obsessed tiers. The app tracks customer's progress, notified when new benefits are available and onboards user through this new program.

With the launch of a new rewards program, I led the digital design team to create an iOS app to better help customers track their progress through M·A·C Select’s three loyalty tiers.


To notify customers about their earned rewards, we created a color-coded messaging system based on their tier.

To create a flexible app that would dynamically reflect status and earned benefits offered throughout the year, messaging touts are interchangeable. Users can tap through to learn more, or redeem.

The overall system and messaging needed to accommodate concurrent workflows with campaign art, product shots and the e-commerce site.

To announce this program, we launched social media and email awareness campaigns. Throughout a customer’s journey with the program, they receive emails and in-app messages to update them on their status.
